Common Issues

My alarm didn't go off

Make sure of the following:

  • 1.Notifications are enabled - Go to Settings > Notifications > Wak and enable all alerts.
  • 2.Focus Mode isn't blocking Wak - If you use Do Not Disturb or Sleep Focus, add Wak to your allowed apps.
  • 3.Your phone isn't powered off - AlarmKit alarms require your iPhone to be on.
  • 4.iOS is up to date - Wak requires iOS 17 or later for AlarmKit support.
AI photo verification isn't working

AI verification needs a clear, well-lit photo. Make sure you have camera permissions enabled for Wak and that you're photographing the correct object. If verification keeps failing, try better lighting or a different angle. If issues persist, email us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your iPhone Settings > tap your Apple ID at the top > Subscriptions > find Wak > tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

I lost my streak, can I get it back?

Streaks reset when you miss a morning - that's by design to keep the motivation real. However, all badges and themes you've unlocked stay forever. If you believe your streak was lost due to a bug (e.g., the alarm didn't fire), email us with details and we'll look into it.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from within the app: go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including streaks, badges, and alarm history. You can also email us at team@hypedev.co to request deletion.
